ESG Impact

Clean Energy. Healthier Land. Stronger Communities.

Sustainability is not a side-story at BNG Power — it is the core of our business model. Every barrel of CBG we produce and every acre of Napier grass we cultivate creates measurable environmental and social impact.

Environmental Impact

Reducing Emissions. Restoring Resources.

Our CBG plant displaces fossil CNG, cuts greenhouse gas emissions, operates with zero liquid discharge, runs on 100% renewable feedstock, and is powered in part by on-site solar — a genuinely clean industrial facility.

~40–60%
CO₂ reduction vs fossil CNG

CBG displaces fossil fuel usage, avoiding ~2,000+ tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions per year from the transportation sector.

ZLD
Zero Liquid Discharge system

All process water is treated and recycled. No liquid waste is discharged into the environment.

100%
Renewable energy feedstock

Napier grass and organic waste — entirely renewable, zero extraction from fossil reserves.

Solar
Hybrid solar integration at plant

On-site solar power reduces grid dependency, lowers operating costs, and cuts the plant's own carbon footprint.

Solar Integration

Hybrid Renewable Energy Model

BNG Power integrates a solar power installation at the CBG plant site to cover a significant portion of the plant's energy requirements. This hybrid model — combining bio-energy with solar — further reduces our operational carbon footprint and cuts electricity costs.

Surplus solar power generated during peak production hours can be exported to the grid, creating an additional revenue stream while supporting India's renewable energy capacity targets.

Agricultural Transformation

From Barren Land to Flourishing Fields

Our Napier grass cultivation model doesn't just supply feedstock — it transforms the agricultural landscape of Rajasthan's rural belt.

Turning Barren Land Productive

Low-fertility, underutilised land in Rajasthan is being transformed into high-yield Napier grass fields. Napier grass is a fast-growing perennial that requires minimal inputs and can produce 4–6 harvests per year.

Soil Health Improvement with FOM

The digestate by-product (FOM and LFOM) from our CBG process is a rich organic fertiliser. Returning it to the soil improves microbial activity, enhances water retention, and increases long-term soil fertility — reducing the need for chemical fertilisers.

Promoting Organic Farming

By supplying FOM and LFOM to local farmers at competitive rates, we are actively helping the surrounding agricultural community transition toward organic farming practices — improving produce quality and farmer income simultaneously.

Water-Efficient Cultivation

Napier grass is well-adapted to semi-arid conditions and requires significantly less water than traditional crops. Our agronomic practices minimise water consumption while maximising biomass yield per acre.

Rural Development

Empowering Rural Communities

BNG Power creates tangible, lasting impact in the communities surrounding our operations — from direct employment to farmer income growth and village economic development.

100+ Direct Jobs

Plant operations, farming, transportation, and administration — generating stable, skilled employment in rural Rajasthan.

Farmer Income Growth

Farmers who cultivate Napier grass under our contract farming model receive assured income, reducing their dependence on monsoon-linked crops.

Village Economy Boost

Ancillary spending from plant operations and employee income stimulates local businesses, traders, and services in surrounding villages.

Rural Energy Access

By supplying clean bio-gas into the local distribution network, we contribute to affordable and accessible clean energy for urban and peri-urban households.

UN SDG Alignment

Aligned with Global Sustainability Goals

BNG Power's operations are directly aligned with seven UN Sustainable Development Goals, making it a compelling choice for ESG-conscious investors and institutional partners.
